Life on the internet​ is a dynamically interesting one. There are millions of places to be online. However, a larger percentage of the populace just hang on fewer than 5 or 6 of which 90% is social media.
While it's good to be socially aware, SM seldomly has any positive impact on our lives neither does it help much in giving us the desired network capital we yearn for.
Addiction to social media is real. Many suffer from it without even knowing. The telcos are shifting focus from voice to data simply because the statistics showing the average time one spends online is encouraging.
We are in the age of globalisation and online interaction. There's nothing anyone can do about it. We will just simply evolve and adapt to inherent changes. That's the way life works
